Hardware and audio
Physical systems make software constraints tangible: timing becomes audible, interfaces become tactile, and abstractions meet the bench.
Physical constraints
Embedded projects are a useful correction to purely digital thinking. Latency cannot always be hidden, a noisy input is not a type error, and the quality of an interaction depends on electrical and mechanical decisions as much as code.
Audio makes those constraints especially immediate. Missed timing is something you hear. A successful design has to coordinate computation, storage, controls, and human rhythm.
ModuLoop combined those interests in one project: embedded architecture, hands-on hardware work, and an instrument meant to invite experimentation.
